Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) Test

The Fasting Blood Sugar (FBS) test measures your blood glucose level after an 8-hour fast, to diagnose diabetes and pre-diabetes. Unlike the Random Blood Sugar (RBS) test, fasting is required to ensure food doesn't affect the glucose level during the test.
