Venoplasty and stenting

Peripheral venoplasty is a minimally invasive medical procedure used to open up leg veins that have narrowed or blocked. It involves using a peripheral venogram to evaluate the affected vein before using specialised equipment to remove the blockage. A stent is placed in the treated vein to help keep it open and restore normal blood flow.
