Thoracoscopy and biopsy

Thoracoscopy is a test used to examine the space between your lung and chest wall; the space is known as the pleural cavity. The doctor makes use of a flexible tube with a light and camera fixed to it, referred to as a thoracoscope. They use the collected samples for biopsy purposes.
