These include blood cancers like Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma, various types of anaemia and other rare diseases. A Hemato-Oncologist is a medical specialist who focuses on diagnosing, treating, and managing hematological cancers, also known as blood cancers. These cancers arise from blood-forming tissues, such as the lymphatic system, bone marrow and blood cells. Hemato-oncologists are experts in treating various blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and myelodysplastic syndromes.
